Incentive-Based Programs And Positive Disciplinary
Improvement
[ send me this paper ]
5 pages in length. Adult males who are serving more than fifty years sentences in maximum security prisons do not harbor much incentive for displaying acceptable social behavior; inasmuch as they have earned themselves a life sentence in the first place illustrates their inability to blend with society in the first place. Aging and Cognitive Development: Maintaining Mental Agility
[ send me this paper ]
A 6 page discussion of the relationship between cognitive function and age. Today, however, developmentalists seem to be altering this attitude to one which recognizes that an individual’s participation in certain activities can have a positive impact on the retention of mental agility. Bibliography lists 11 sources.

Alcohol’s Effect on Personality
[ send me this paper ]
A 6 page paper discussing the relation of alcohol and personality from several perspectives. Research indicates that more aggressive types are more likely to drink to excess; other researchers point to alcohol-induced interruption of brain activity as likely being cumulative and lasting, long after alcohol has left the drinker’s system. Still others address the effects of personality on the likelihood of success in alcohol treatment. It seems reasonable to say that personality affects individuals’ reactions to alcohol and even whether individuals drink at all. Though there has been a great deal of research into the relationship between alcohol and personality, the best information to date still seems to be anecdotal evidence. Bibliography lists 6 sources.
